MARK CRABTREE- Head Coach
Coach Mark Crabtree is in his tenth season as Head Football Coach at Dublin Coffman High School, with a record of 82 - 26 in the last nine years (132 - 45 overall). In his first year as the Rock’s Head Coach, he and his staff led the Rocks to the Semi-Finals of the 2001 State Championship. The Rocks have qualified for the playoffs seven of the last nine years, and were the Regional Champions in 2001, 2003, and 2007; as well as Regional Runners-Up in 2006 and 2009. Prior to Dublin Coffman, Coach Crabtree held the position of Head Football Coach at St. Charles Prep for two seasons, 1999 and 2000, where he helped lead them to a playoff appearance in 2000. Coach Crabtree was also the Head Coach at William V. Fisher Catholic High School from 1995-1998. During the four years at Fisher Catholic, his teams won three league championships, had three playoff appearances, and were State Runners-Up in 1998. Prior to being a head coach, Coach Crabtree was the Defensive Coordinator for St. Francis DeSales High School for seven seasons. During that time, the Stallions were State Runners-up in 1990 and Semi-finalists in 1991. Coach Crabtree was named Mid-State League Coach of the Year in 1995, ‘96, and ‘97; Central District Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 1995, ‘97, and ‘98; the AP State of Ohio Division II Coach of the Year in 2000; the AP State of Ohio Division I Coach of the Year in 2009; and the Ohio Capital Conference Coach of the Year in 2007 and ‘09. Coach Crabtree has been married to his wife Jennifer since December, 1994. They have 4 children: Evan (14), Luke (10), Kinsey (8), and Dane (4). The Crabtree’s reside in Dublin and are members of St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church, where they assist with the Pre-Cana program.
CURTIS CRAGER - Safeties
Coach Crager will begin his 9th year coaching at Dublin Coffman High School. He is a graduate of West Jefferson High School and Capital University, where he was a four year starter on defense. He teaches in the Special Education Department and is the F.C.A. Huddle Leader at Coffman. Coach Crager and his wife Andrea are the proud parents of two children. Curtis Jr. is 2 years old and baby Kierstyn is 3 months.
MIKE "MAC" MCNEIL - Offensive Line
Coach McNeil begins his 6th season coaching for Coffman, his 9th as a coach. Coach McNeil was a 3 year letterman and a 1993 graduate of Dover High School. He was a 4 year letterman and 1998 graduate of Malone University. He went on to earn his M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton in 2002. He teaches at Wyandot Elementary in the Dublin City School District. Coach McNeil, his wife, Becky, and his two daughters Melanie and Madison reside in Dublin.
KEVIN FINAN - Ends and Leo's
Coach Finan is in his 10th year at Dublin Coffman and has been with Coach Crabtree since 1995. Coach Finan and his wife Mary, have been married for 35 years and have two sons: Colin and Daniel. Coach Finan is the Attendance Counselor at Dublin Coffman High School.
TYLER SLOAS - Inside Linebackers
Coach Sloas will be entering his 9th year of coaching at Dublin Coffman. He is the Inside Linebackers Coach. Coach Sloas spent three years with the Freshman team assisting Coach Rathburn. He will be entering his 6th year coaching varsity.
BOB HICKS - Receivers
Coach Hicks is coaching for his 16th year at Dublin Coffman, with past experiences at McConnelsville, Ohio. He teaches Math at Dublin Coffman. He attended both Muskingum and Ohio University, where he was a 1994 graduate. He is proud to be part of a community that supports both academics and athletics. Bob's wife Suzanne, is a Guidance Counselor at Davis Middle School in Dublin. Bob and Suzanne have two sons, Hunter (7) and Carter (4).
TOM TURNER - Offensive Line
Coach Turner begins his 21st year of coaching, this being his 10th season coaching with the Rocks. He previously served as Offensive Line Coach under Coach Crabtree at Fisher Catholic and Columbus St. Charles. He is a graduate of Hebron Lakewood High School and earned a B.S. in Secondary Education from The Ohio State University. Coach Turner teaches U.S. Government and IB History at Coffman High School. He and his wife, Jennifer, a Registered Nurse at Fairfield Medical Center, reside in Pataskala. Their son, Bryant is 7 and daughter, Ayla, is 3.
KYLE CUTLER - Linebackers
Coach Cutler is in his 1st year as an educator and 3rd year of coaching at Dublin Coffman. he is a 2003 graduate of Jonathan Alder High School, where he earned All-State honors as a linebacker. He is a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green State University, with a major in Education. He was also a member and four year letter winner for the Falcons, who made three bowl appearances during his tenure. He is a recent inductee into The National Honor Society, in recognition of superior academic performance and excellence in inter-collegiate football. He is the third and youngest son of Tom and Sue Cutler.
DAN FINAN - Interior Defensive Line
Coach Finan is entering his 9th season of coaching football. This will be his 7th season with the Rocks. Coach Finan spent the last two seasons coaching the Defensive Line at Ohio Dominican University. He is a recent graduate of Ohio Dominican University with his Special Education license, and will be student teaching at Dublin Coffman High School, this fall.
BRENT ULLERY- Wide Receivers
Coach Ullery is coaching his second season at Dublin Coffman High School. He currently teaches Math at Dublin Coffman. Coach Ullery attended The Ohio State University where he majored in Mathematics.
KEVIN CASSIDY- Cornerbacks
Coach Cassidy is entering his 2nd year at Dublin Coffman. Before arriving at Coffman, Cassidy spent two seasons at Lake High School, and served as a defensive back position coach for two years at his college Alma Mater, The University of Findlay. His resume also includes coaching six years at Reynoldsburg High School, under Head Coach Tony Pusateri. Kevin is a 1979 Graduate of The University of Findlay, where he played for legendary College Football Hall of Fame Coach Dick Strahm. Kevin was named All-American and captain of Findlay's first undefeated team. In addition, Kevin had the honor of being inducted into the 1996 University of Findlay's Athletic Hall of Fame. Coach Cassidy and his wife Cindy will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this year. They have two adult children, Sean and Brianne.
TOM OSBORN - Defensive Backs
Coach Osborn grew up in Marion, Iowa, where he was a student and four sport athlete. Shortly after high school he joined the U.S. Air Force as a meteorologist and was stationed in Biloxi, St. Louis, England, and Iraq. After his enlistment, he joined the National Guard, and went back to school. He walked on the Pima Jr. College Football team in Tucson, AZ, and eventually became a starter and captain, and Academic All-American. He is now finishing his Bachelors Degree at The Ohio State University. He resides in Columbus with his wonderful wife, Laura, whom he recently married this past June. Together they are very active in church, volunteering with the Special Olympics, Red Cross, and American Cancer Society. Jason is very proud and thankful to start his coaching career at Coffman, with the best program and community in Central Ohio.
ED SIMS - Running Backs
Coach Sims is making his return to Dublin Coffman. He has been an assistant under Coach Crabtree at Fisher Catholic, St. Charles, and Dublin Coffman. Coach Sims attended Fisher Catholic and graduated from Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. He went on to play baseball at Elon College. Coach Sims is the proud father of two daughters, Allie (13) and Maddie (9)
